Barong Bali is a traditional Balinese dance characterized by masks and body costumes worn by one or two people. It features various animal heads, such as pigs, elephants, dogs, and birds, and is the pride of each city in Bali. Barong Bangkung, also known as Barong Bangkal, is a type of barong that resembles an adult pig, with male adult pigs called bangkal and females called bangkung. It is part of the traditional Balinese barong performance art called malelawang, dominated by children, to enliven the atmosphere of Hindu holidays in Bali. Barong is performed around the village on sacred days or during disease outbreaks. This dance is performed at Oculus Bali by local children.
